Very cool. Never knew about these fish until today, it’s interesting to see more information about a deep sea fish since it’s otherwise hard to get an up close look at their lifecycle and adaptations otherwise
I just thought of a five fish doowop group when you said they compete
Certified monday morning vibe.
Awesome, thank you very much. Very informative and beautiful vid, this fish is wonderful!
Beautiful animal.
Reminds me of fresh water marble gobbies
otterly pawsome morning routine
A little stretching before terrorizing those sea urchins.
I do the same thing, only difference is that I include my balls to (pun on the "to" intended 😉).. Peace y'all.
Господи как мама любит малыша
You and me, both, little guy... 😌
Adorable!
CUTE 😊
3:36 Run! The Midshipmen are coming!!
Can I join with you
What is this meeting going on What will I benefit from this meeting Can I join you?
How are you
Hi friends
You have answered my search. I thought there was a problem with my boat. The hum was so noticeable inside the cabin, less so outside. I thought I was going nuts.
That must have been something to hear!
Howo he tastes?
I use to live on the Elkorn dairy in the 70's with my parents and had to move in 1981 because it was sold to the wildlife fish and game. I have a milk bottle too.
The editing is hysterical its like a twilight zone episode and then you snap zoomed into the fish
🤗🎩.. You guys are adorable!! I so look forward to my bats in the evening hours here in the mountains of California! Most entertaining! And such acrobats! Keep it hanging boys!
0:21 I just love how they just cruise about
1:12 wait, what's that?! 😅
The density of observations of a species is conditioned on the density of observing done by the human. Thus the iNaturalist observation density is not the same thing as the density of the organism. If the GPS tracks of where the observers walked is provided, then it may be possible to marginalize the species density by the sampling density. I should check out some of the mentioned papers to see how they tackled this problem.
When it talks about its habitat range, it should say Gulf of **California, Mexico (not Gulf of Mexico, that is in the Atlantic coast!)
Elkhorn isn't even near sf
Long story but I heard this fuckin fish at a park in off campus class and thought It was a sign of the end of the world. Might not have been this fish there was a body of water nearby but there also was possibly a construction noise idk.
Thanks
This is the most comprehensive video that I have seen yet on how to identify poison oak. Thanks!
This is the reason why these birds have migrated rapidly, damaged the ecosystem, damaged buildings, and somehow get to be federally protcted. These savage birds are rats in no way in hell is nature more like a pest problem with a colony ready to fuck your neighborhood up.
Face massage
I wish these birds would be excluded from being protected because who the fuck needs those flying rat-infested birds anyways and no they are not nature just like a flock of pigeons roaming around posted and for no reason at all.
Very interesting. I've been paddling in Elkhorn Slough for years and always wonder about the history - the posts, walkways and other signs of man that I see. I'll look forward to visiting when the visitor center reopens.
What a cool-ass fish!
Would you happen to know what time in the day this footage was taken?

Tip: most camera phones have a minimum focus distance of 6-8". To get closer for small objects, you can buy a clip-on close-up lens; cheaper yet, you can get a hand lens at a hobby store for under $10.
Greetings from Peoples Republic of Boulder. I miss my occasional kayak outings at the slough, especially the sea otters. iNat rocks.
Adorable smart and cutest animals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lake people! Hu put dislake desable idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool! Thanks
Fuck those rats
Good luck. I've got a Nuttal's nest outside my backdoor in a dead limb. I haven't seen many starlings around but does the hole need to be smaller than the one you have maybe?
Morning routine 😆
Does anyone know if this house was at one time owned by Richard Felix Hall?
Thanks for showing not only the leaves, but the light brown/tan vine. Poison oak also has a "hairy" vine and root, which also contains the oil. You have to properly dispose of the entire plant, from root to vine to leaves, by trash disposal or burying far away, still in the trash bag. Do NOT burn poison oak! And the poison can still be in/on the plant for years after it's dead! Use a poison oak-specific spray to try and kill it, but I have found the best way is pulling it out of the ground entirely and disposal.
Welcome to the world little one! Congrats momma!
